Vivalytic UTI Panel
Point of Care Testing Device
Information
The Vivalytic UTI Panel is a PCR-based diagnostic test designed for the detection of urinary tract infection (UTI) pathogens and antimicrobial resistance genes from a single native urine sample. It can identify 16 different uropathogens, including gram-negative and gram-positive bacterial species, as well as 7 antimicrobial resistance genes, such as those linked to trimethoprim, methicillin, and vancomycin resistance. The test uses Randox Biochip Technology (end-point PCR) and delivers results in just 2.5 hours, facilitating rapid and effective treatment decisions for improved patient outcomes and UTI management.
