In our upcoming session on urinalysis, we will delve into the Sysmex urinalysis solutions, focusing on their integration into modern diagnostic workflows. These systems enhance efficiency and accuracy, offering automated solutions that streamline urinalysis and improve patient outcomes. We will also address the antimicrobial resistance (AMR) situation in our region, a critical public health issue. The increasing prevalence of AMR poses challenges to effective treatment strategies, emphasising the need for robust diagnostic tools like those offered by Sysmex. Additionally, we will discuss findings from the microbiology study conducted in Kuwait on the UN series analysers, which highlight the importance of precise urinalysis in identifying bacterial infections and guiding targeted therapies. This session aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the intersection between technology, clinical microbiology, and public health, equipping participants with knowledge to address current challenges in urinalysis and infectious disease management.
