Information

Digital PCR, known as third generation PCR technology, is a new method for the highly sensitive detection and absolute quantification of nucleic acids. Compared to traditional qPCR, digital PCR adds the operation of partitioning the reaction system into tens of microlitres into tens of thousands of tiny individual reaction systems, in which the nucleic acid template is sufficiently diluted so that ideally each droplet contains 0 or 1 molecule of nucleic acid template. After amplification, all droplets are identified and counted, and the concentration of the target molecule is calculated using the Poisson distribution principle. The D50 Automatic Digital PCR System is a new generation of microdrop digital PCR integrated all-in-one system developed independently by TargetingOne. The system has significant advantages such as fully automated, high throughput, rapid and flexible, meeting the current urgent need for digital PCR technology application, which can be widely used in the research and diagnosis of tumour, genetic diseases and infectious diseases, the emergence of the all-in-one machine will provide a more competitive technical ideas and solutions. The TargetingOne® TD-2 digital PCR platform includes a Drop Maker-M1, a Chip Reader-R2, a Fast Gradient Thermal Cycler and general reagents and consumables. This platform is easy to use with few manual operation steps. The entire reaction takes place in a closed device to prevent contamination. This digital PCR system is suitable for rare mutation detection, copy number variation analysis and relative gene expression measurement, and it provides a competitive technical method and means for the research and diagnosis of tumor, genetic diseases and infectious diseases.
