Vidia Spol SroZ7.H32VIDIA spol. s r.o. is a private Czech biotechnology company that has been engaged in the development, production, and distribution of diagnostic kits for human medicine and the environment for 33 years. VIDIA was the first in the world to produce tests for the sixth childhood illness caused by the human herpes virus, HHV-6, and still holds this distinction. The company's portfolio now consists of more than 500 diagnostic kits. With extensive experience in medical device manufacturing and science, a professional team, and modern laboratory equipment, it successfully executes all stages of the development and production process of high-quality VIDITEST kits for the diagnosis of infectious viral, bacterial, and parasitic diseases. Many of these kits are entirely unique in their diagnostic purpose. For example, tests for acute and chronic respiratory infections caused by pathogens such as Pseudomonas, bacteria in the lungs of patients with cystic fibrosis, or the fungus Aspergillus, common in the lungs of individuals with reduced immunity. Tests for the Polyomavirus BKV are also significant, as it is a leading cause of nephropathy in kidney transplant patients, often leading to organ rejection. VIDIA provides enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kits - ELISA-VIDITEST and uniquely designed single-strip MONO-VIDITEST, Line-ImunoAssay (LIA) kits, and immunofluorescence IF-VIDITEST kits for the serological diagnosis of more than 40 viruses, bacteria, and parasites. Many kits are used in liquor serology, environmental toxicology, and as educational tools for students.
